The Reverend Lisa Wojna serves as the Rector of St. George’s Anglican Church in Devon, where she leads with a gentle spirit, a pastoral heart, and a deep commitment to walking with people through every chapter of life and faith. She was ordained a Deacon on the Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul in 2022, and ordained to the priesthood on Holy Cross Day in 2023.
Rev. Lisa is a Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner, grounding her ministry in compassionate presence, thoughtful listening, and support for those navigating moments of grief, uncertainty, gratitude, and joy. Her work reflects a belief that spiritual care is sacred — meeting people where they are, with kindness and without judgment.
At St. George’s, she is dedicated to nurturing a community where every person is welcomed and valued. Regardless of race, culture, background, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity, you are invited to belong — not because you have all the answers, but because God’s love is wide enough for all of us.
Her ministry emphasizes meaningful worship, lifelong learning, and growing together in faith. She often reminds the congregation that church is more than Sunday mornings — it’s about creating space for hope, connection, and the quiet work of loving our neighbours.
Wherever you are on your journey, Rev. Lisa and the St. George’s community are grateful to walk alongside you.
